is a writer and producer living in Los Angeles, California. She grew up on a farm outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and once tried to hatch goose eggs in her dresser drawer so she could recreate the movie Fly Away Home. She graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with degrees in Dramatic Writing and Producing.
Khalehla currently writes copy for Works Advertising, an entertainment advertising agency specializing in film and television print advertising. Her tag lines have appeared on posters for Warner Brother’s Magic Mike XXL, How to be Single, Geostorm, and Life of the Party, 20th Century Fox's Love, Simon, NBC’s Emerald City and Taken, and Fox’s Empire. Khalehla also re-titled STX’s film The Space Between Us and recently won a Golden Trailer Award for her copy on the Love, Simon campaign.
Khalehla has written three original pilots, was the producer, editor, and co-host of Hamilton the Podcast, and produced the short film Drive Home. She was asked to adapt her 10-minute play We Can Be Sad Tomorrowinto a short film, which was produced in June. Her internal monologue is always on ALL CAPS.
